The National Football League (NFL) has a section for current and historical stats. As FLACS math geniuses we love making sense of numbers and stats.
QB Passer Rating measures a quarterback’s performance using various key stats:
ATT Passing Attempts
COMP	Completions
YDS Yards
TD Touchdowns
INT Interceptions
It involves four separate calculations, shown below as results a, b, c, and d that are then all put tofether in a final calculation.
If any of those four results (a, b, c, or d) is greater than 2.375, it’s reduced to 2.375.
If any of those four results (a, b, c, or d) is negative, it’s reduced to zero.
A "perfect" QB Passer Rating is 158.3 (when a, b, c, and d are all set to 2.375)
An 'average" QB Passer Rating is 66.7 (when a, b, c, and d are all equal to 1)
